Khari Edwards – Brooklyn Borough President Candidate
Community leader, Khari Edwards, reported he has been doing the groundwork in the community, advocating for his fellow Brooklynites on health care and housing issues, and has been behind the scenes for over 20 years, helping local politicians. Now Edwards says he is ready to serve Brooklyn in a political role. The long-time Brooklynite, who was born to immigrant parents from Guyana and Trinidad, wants to take center stage as the next Brooklyn Borough President. Some of the issues Edwards plans to prioritize, if given the opportunity to assume the role of Brooklyn Borough President, include affordable housing, quality health care, and programming for youth.
